Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient-centered care, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, across diverse populations. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on improving mental health outcomes through evidence-based practices and collaborative care. The LCSW will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy within a multidisciplinary setting. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations using medical terminology and HIPAA-compliant documentation practices. Provide individual, group, and family counseling utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement specialized care for populations including children with autism, developmental disabilities, PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and patients with disabilities. Engage in crisis management and crisis intervention to support patients experiencing acute mental health episodes. Collaborate with healthcare professionals across hospital settings, community agencies, and home care environments to coordinate patient care plans. Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Participate in clinical research projects related to behavioral health and mental health counseling to advance evidence-based practices. Manage intake procedures, patient assessment processes, and case management activities to ensure comprehensive patient support. Utilize skills in social work, addiction counseling, motivational interviewing, and special education strategies as needed. Stay current with
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding (including CPT coding) for accurate medical documentation and billing purposes. Qualifications Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, behavioral health services, or related fields. Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, and healthcare documentation standards. Experience working with children & family counseling, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, PTSD care, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, or working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems and clinical research methodologies. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations and provide crisis intervention effectively. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) and CPT coding for accurate recordkeeping. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Pay:
$65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
