You will work primarily within a virtual school setting, facilitating remote therapy sessions and ensuring students receive the support they need. Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Community Empowerment Mental Therapy, LLC, your primary responsibilities will include: Conducting thorough clinical assessments to determine the mental health needs of your clients, developing tailored treatment plans that follow best practices and solution-focused approaches. Administering a variety of therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based therapeutic techniques, to meet individual patient needs. Maintaining detailed and accurate clinical records that comply with HIPAA regulations, routinely documenting progress toward patient goals. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of mental health providers, including psychologists and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care for students. Engaging in regular case consultations and team meetings to evaluate treatment outcomes and improve service delivery. Providing education and support to patients and their families, helping them to understand mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources. Staying current on new developments in mental health by integrating research findings and evolving practices into your clinical work. Patient Population / Client Focus Your focus will be on a diverse group of children and adolescents in a school setting, each facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will provide crucial support and therapy to individuals from various socio-economic backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, and trauma. Qualifications The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications: A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution. A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida. A minimum of three years of experience providing psychotherapy in a clinical setting, which may include outpatient clinical settings, schools, or similar environments. Proficiency in solution-focused and evidence-based therapeutic interventions, with a focus on child and adolescent mental health. Strong interpersonal communication skills, allowing for effective interaction with both clients and team members. Preferred Experience Preference will be given to candidates who have experience working within school systems and who are familiar with the unique dynamics of providing mental health support in educational settings.
