Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Certified Social Worker - Clinical to join our dedicated mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive clinical social work services, including mental health assessments, individual and group therapy, and crisis intervention. Your expertise will support diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, with a focus on promoting mental wellness, managing behavioral health conditions, and enhancing overall patient outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems and DSM-5 criteria. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to client needs. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies. Engage in crisis management by implementing effective crisis intervention strategies for patients experiencing acute psychiatric or behavioral emergencies. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, including case management for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Maintain accurate medical records using Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems, ensuring timely documentation of patient assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes. Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to support evidence-based practice improvements and quality assurance processes. Facilitate mental health interventions across various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, or home visits, emphasizing culturally competent care for diverse populations. Conduct psychiatric patient care activities including medication management support in collaboration with psychiatrists or medical providers. Deliver specialized services such as PTSD care, addiction counseling, geriatrics (Alzheimer's care), or special education support as needed. Experience Licensed Certified Social Worker with active licensure in good standing (e.g., LCSW or equivalent). Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings involving mental health counseling or behavioral therapy. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Prior experience working within hospital environments or home & community care settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric care and familiarity with CPT coding (Current Procedural Terminology) for billing purposes. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while adhering to clinical confidentiality standards under HIPAA regulations. Strong communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams across diverse cultural backgrounds.
