Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker/A (LCSW/A) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral care team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, evidence-based interventions, and personalized treatment plans to diverse populations, including adults and individuals with developmental disabilities. Your expertise will support patients across various settings such as hospitals, community clinics, and home environments. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing
ICD-10/ICD-9
coding systems, and develop individualized treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards. Provide evidence-based psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to address a wide range of mental health conditions including PTSD, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, and developmental disabilities. Deliver crisis intervention services and manage acute psychiatric episodes with professionalism and sensitivity. Facilitate individual, group, and family counseling sessions focused on mental health interventions, social work principles, and client communication strategies. Document all patient interactions accurately within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans, including case management for complex cases involving medical social work or special education needs. Collect data for clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes while adhering to confidentiality policies and research protocols. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker/Adult (LCSW/A) or equivalent in the respective state or jurisdiction. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in clinical settings such as hospitals, community clinics, or home care environments. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, psychiatric patient care, crisis management, and evidence-based practices like applied behavior analysis (ABA). Familiarity with EMR systems (Electronic Medical Records), CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), and medical documentation standards. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other special needs populations. Skills in trauma-informed care approaches including PTSD care and addiction counseling techniques. Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Excellent communication skills for client engagement across individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling sessions. Knowledge of medical terminology related to mental health interventions and psychiatric diagnoses such as Alzheimer's care or geriatrics is a plus.
