Job Description

Header Overview Join our dynamic mental health team as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) / Therapist, where you will play a vital role in delivering comprehensive behavioral health services to diverse populations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide psychotherapy, conduct diagnostic evaluations, and develop personalized treatment plans that promote healing and resilience. You will work closely with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors, utilizing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques. Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing clinical research methods and medical terminology to determine client needs and treatment goals. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, Alzheimer's care, or other complex mental health conditions. Utilize electronic medical records (EMR systems) to document patient care accurately, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to support clients experiencing acute mental health episodes or emergencies. Collaborate with case management teams, healthcare providers, educators in special education settings, and community organizations to coordinate patient care effectively. Collect data for clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes and participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Qualifications Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the respective state or region. Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, and social work within hospital settings or community clinics. Strong knowledge of diagnostic coding systems such as
ICD-10/ICD-9/ICD
coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes. Familiarity with CPT coding for billing procedures related to psychological services. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and older adults requiring geriatrics or Alzheimer's care. Competency in working with individuals with developmental disabilities or special education needs; experience with applied behavior analysis is a plus. Ability to perform patient assessments, case management, crisis intervention, and social work functions efficiently. Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychopharmacology and integrated healthcare models. Proficiency in working with EMR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to patient care; ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines. $42.18 - $50.80 per hour
