Job Description

Overview:
The Central Jersey Medical Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center looking to hire a full time Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Established in the year 2002, the CJMC has a main location in Perth Amboy, NJ as well as 5 School Based Health Centers located in Newark, NJ. Location of position is in Perth Amboy, NJ.
Responsibilities:
Duties for this position include:
Essential Functions:
Completion of a biopsychosocial assessments Knowledge of community resources and appropriate referrals Experience with the DSM5 and ICD10 for psychiatric diagnosis Social Work consultation for the primary care providers including but not limited to ongoing case discussion and evaluation focusing on clinical goals and treatment plans. Psychotherapeutic counseling, including resolution of symptoms involving mental disorders, psycho social stress, relationship problems or difficulties coping with social environment. Client centered advocacy to bring about or influence change and improve quality of life.
Qualifications:
A Master's degree in Social Work, from an accredited college or university; experience working with troubled children and families; individual and group psychotherapy for children and adults. Must possess a thorough knowledge of principles and techniques of youth and family counseling; working knowledge of human services system; ability to conduct and facilitate meetings; ability to maintain effective working relationship with other social service providers; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Experience with electronic medical records, email, work and excel preferred. Preferably able to speak, read and write Spanish and English.
