Full Job Description Position Summary:
We are excited to be expanding services at Plaza del Sol, our Corona-Queens Family Health Center and opening up an entire new floor. In line with this expansion, wee are seeking new associates to join our team in the capacity of C linical Therapists (LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW). As key mental health professionals, the individual provides clinical assessment and individual therapy for patients.
Minimum Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work from Accredited Institution is required. NYS Licensed LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW is required. 1-2 years of experience providing counseling Bilingual Spanish/English is required. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment as a member of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to identify high-risk psychosocial factors in patients and families that impact health status.
Key Duties:
Provides bio-psychosocial assessments and clinical diagnostic assessments. Conducts individual psychotherapy and counseling services to children within public schools. Maintains skills and knowledge in clinical theory and practice to help patients overcome dependencies, adjust to life, and make changes. Provides counseling to family members to assist with understanding and supporting patients. Engages in crisis intervention when necessary and refers patients or family to community resources. Provides consultation to medical providers. Collaborates with physicians to develop and implement treatment and intervention programs. Participates in clinical team meetings.
Starting Compensation:
LMSW/LMHC
Minimum $72,000 per year; Maximum $80,000 per year
LCSW:
Minimum $85,000 per year; Maximum $94,000 per year
Work Environment Type, Location, and Schedule:
