A Healthcare Social Worker provides individuals and families with the psychosocial support needed to cope with chronic, acute, or terminal illnesses. Services include advising family care givers, providing patient education and counseling, and making referrals for other services. May also provide care and case management or interventions designed to promote health, prevent disease, and address barriers to access to healthcare.
A small psychiatric office paving the way mental health is treated and addressed is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker in NJ (other states are a bonus). We offer our services virtually and in person, allowing our clinicians to have flexible schedules. Our providers specialize in talk therapy, mindfulness, Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR for trauma, executive functioning coaching, career and life transition coaching, and medication evaluation & management.
