Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, clinical assessments, and case management, to diverse populations across various settings. Duties Conduct thorough clinical assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake interviews to determine patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Provide specialized counseling for children with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and Alzheimer's care. Implement motivational interviewing techniques to enhance patient engagement and facilitate behavior change. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, including medical professionals, educators, and community agencies, ensuring holistic support for patients. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations using electronic medical records (EMR) systems; document patient progress and treatment outcomes diligently. Participate in clinical research initiatives related to behavioral health interventions and contribute to data collection efforts for ongoing studies. Skills Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques tailored for diverse populations including children, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, crisis intervention, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Experience working with children & families in home or community-based settings; familiarity with special education and working with individuals on the autism spectrum. Ability to manage complex cases involving PTSD care, addiction counseling, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurodegenerative conditions. Proficiency in using EMR systems for documentation; understanding of medical terminology and ICD coding (ICD-9/10) for accurate recordkeeping. Skilled in intake procedures, case management, diagnostic evaluation, and group therapy facilitation within behavioral health or hospital environments. Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, social work interventions, crisis management, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
