Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical counseling, psychotherapy, and case management services to adults and seniors. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, developmental disabilities, trauma, addiction, and complex medical conditions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care through assessments, treatment planning, crisis intervention, and ongoing support within a collaborative environment committed to holistic well-being. Duties Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and crisis counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, motivational interviewing, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Deliver specialized therapy for clients with developmental disabilities, PTSD, Alzheimer's disease, geriatrics, and other complex conditions. Manage patient records accurately using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and medical documentation standards. Collaborate with healthcare providers on medication management and psychopharmacology when applicable; coordinate with medical teams for integrated patient care. Engage in case management activities including patient assessment, discharge planning, community resource linkage, and follow-up care. Lead crisis intervention efforts during emergencies or behavioral health crises while maintaining safety protocols and crisis management procedures. Participate in clinical research initiatives related to mental health or behavioral health topics; contribute to data collection and analysis efforts to improve treatment outcomes. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent credential. Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings; hospital experience preferred. Proficiency in EMR systems along with excellent medical documentation skills; understanding of HIPAA regulations is essential. Ability to perform diagnostic evaluations for various conditions including PTSD, addiction issues, developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, geriatrics, or working with individuals with disabilities. Skills in behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and crisis management strategies. Strong communication skills for patient assessment discussions and interdisciplinary collaboration; capacity for compassionate patient care across diverse populations.
