Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our mental health and behavioral health team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive patient care through individual, group, and family counseling, utilizing evidence-based practices to support clients with diverse needs, including developmental disabilities, PTSD, addiction, and aging populations. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary setting. The LCSW will also be responsible for maintaining accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and utilizing EMR systems effectively. Duties Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations for individuals across various age groups, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and adults with disabilities. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis, and crisis intervention. Implement specialized treatment approaches for conditions mental Health conditions and substance use disorders. Engage in case management activities to coordinate community resources and home-based care for clients with complex needs. Document clinical encounters accurately within electronic medical records (EMR) systems while adhering to HIPAA standards. Participate in clinical research projects related to behavioral health outcomes and data collection efforts. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Provide crisis management and intervention services as needed to ensure patient safety. Stay current with developments in social work practices, medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and psychopharmacology to enhance clinical effectiveness. Requirements Valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Proven experience in psychotherapy, mental health counseling, or behavioral health settings. Experience with home & community care programs is highly desirable. Familiarity with EMR systems and medical documentation standards compliant with HIPAA regulations. Knowledge of ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and medical records management. Ability to conduct intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and patient care planning effectively. Skills in crisis intervention, case management, addiction counseling, and working with diverse populations including geriatrics and special education needs. Excellent communication skills for social work practice within multidisciplinary teams.
