Your role will be diverse and impactful, including conducting rapid assessments, offering brief counseling, and providing longer-term psychotherapy to patients in need. You'll also collaborate with the medical team to assess mental health and substance abuse disorders, make treatment recommendations, and provide crisis intervention and behavioral medicine interventions. Key Responsibilities:
Provide rapid assessments, diagnosis, and brief counseling support. Offer longer-term psychotherapy for patients with ongoing needs. Deliver substance abuse counseling and crisis intervention services. Collaborate with medical teams to address mental health and substance abuse issues. Make meaningful treatment recommendations that change lives.
What You Bring:
MSW from an accredited school of social work (CSWE) or PhD/PsyD. Licensure as an independent clinical social worker in Vermont. 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred, but not mandatory. Experience in a medical setting and interest in behavioral medicine, CBT, and addiction treatment. Strong diagnostic, psychotherapy, and crisis intervention skills. Must be CPR certified.
