Work Environment This position is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to design your own schedule while balancing work and personal commitments. You will be an integral part of a dedicated team of professionals who collaborate to provide high-quality mental health services. Although you will work remotely, you will have access to the latest digital tools and telehealth platforms that enable seamless communication and coordination of care. Key Responsibilities As an LICSW, your responsibilities will encompass a wide array of clinical duties aimed at enhancing patient well-being. Specifically, you will: Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to determine the mental health needs of patients and formulate effective treatment plans. Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) tailored to individual patient requirements. Ensure meticulous documentation of clinical notes, treatment progress, and case updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to deliver holistic and coordinated care for each patient. Engage in ongoing training and peer discussions to improve treatment methods and patient outcomes. Offer education and resources to patients and their families about mental health concerns, coping strategies, and available community support services. Maintain active participation in case reviews, further enhancing the quality of therapeutic interventions. Supervise and manage a full caseload efficiently, regularly monitoring treatment goals and adjusting approaches as necessary while adhering to the ethical guidelines of the NASW. Patient Population / Client Focus The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with complex mental health challenges associated with hospice care. You will have the opportunity to cultivate meaningful relationships with patients, providing essential support and guidance as they navigate emotional and psychological aspects of terminal illness. Your understanding of grief, loss, and coping mechanisms will be essential in fostering resilience among patients and their families. Qualifications To be successful in this role, candidates must possess: A Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid LICSW license to practice in the state of Washington. A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting focusing on psychotherapy services. A sound knowledge of evidence-based psychotherapy techniques and intervention strategies. Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, along with strong interpersonal skills. Effective problem-solving and critical thinking skills that facilitate successful patient interactions. The capability to work collaboratively within multi-disciplinary teams to achieve shared healthcare goals. Preferred Experience While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who have: Experience in hospice or palliative care settings. Proficiency in using telehealth platforms and digital record-keeping systems. Expertise in working with varied cultural populations and addressing their unique mental health needs. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 80,000
to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
