Full Job Description Job Description:
The Nova Academy Therapist works alongside the Teachers, Teacher's Aide and CADT Manager to ensure mental health services are available to Nova Academy clients without barriers. This position will be working Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM. What you'll be doing: Perform individual, group, and/or family mental health counseling services in a day treatment program. Perform crisis intervention and resolution as necessary. Perform assessments, intakes, transfers and discharges for clients. Manage client caseloads, follow up with clients and guardians. Monitor clients' progress toward goals. Document information per standards in electronic client chart, i.e. treatment plans, progress notes, referrals, etc. in a timely and accurate manner. Provide CADT Manager with updates pertaining to clients and their respective statuses. Attend required trainings and staff meetings. Complete other duties as assigned.
