As a counselor, you will provide basic living skills and family support services for adolescents and their families, serving clients in Mobile.
Job Requirements:
Master's degree in a clinical area preferred (Bachelor's accepted) Valid driver's license, proof of personal insurance, acceptable driving record, and access to personal transportation to meet with clients in a variety of locations Must possess basic computer skills such as using e-mails for effective communication, writing and editing in Microsoft Word or Google Docs, searching for information with Google Essential Functions Provide clinical and case management services in individual and family therapy mode Willing to work with families and clients during non-traditional hours in a variety of settings, including offices, schools, client's homes, or other approved community locations Consult with other staff regarding appropriate modes of treatment and interventions with the client Maintain cooperative relationships with the treatment community, juvenile probation department, and other necessary and authorized agencies Assist in the provision of treatment services Ensure the content of client file is in full compliance Complete all required documentation in the electronic health record
