Position Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Psychotherapist (LCSW, LPC, or PhD) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to clients, utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. This role involves working with diverse populations, including those with disabilities, and addressing a range of issues such as behavioral challenges, gender concerns, and emotional well-being. The Psychotherapist will play a crucial role in promoting positive mental health outcomes through effective counseling and therapy. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health needs. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. Provide psychotherapy services in an outpatient setting. Utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques tailored to individual needs. Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with ICD-10 standards. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care. Skills Proficiency in psychopharmacology and understanding its application in treatment. Strong background in outpatient care and patient management. Experience with school-age and adolescent therapy preferred Proficiency with ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing purposes. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction. Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
