Child & Teen Therapist (LAC or LMSW) - W-2 Position LUCA Counseling & Wellness Center - Chandler, AZ Help Children, Teens, Adults and Families Heal While Growing Your Career Do you love helping children and teens feel safe, confident, and understood? Are you the type of clinician who enjoys making therapy engaging through play-based techniques, art, games, movement, sensory activities, and other developmentally appropriate interventions? LUCA Counseling & Wellness Center is seeking a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) to join our growing team as a W-2 employee . We are looking for a compassionate, engaging, and motivated clinician who has experience working with children, adolescents and adults, and is excited to build a diverse caseload that also includes adults and families. Full-Time Hours:
Office hours begin at 10:00 AM , with 1-2 days per week starting at 9:00 AM based on client needs.
Monday:
10:00 AM-5:00
PM Tuesday:
10:00 AM-7:00
PM Wednesday:
10:00 AM-7:00
PM Thursday:
10:00 AM-7:00
PM Friday:
10:00 AM-4:00 PM Schedule may be adjusted as caseload develops and client needs evolve.
Compensation:
Associate clinicians: $25-$35 per clinical session , depending on experience Administrative time: $17/hour
Training Time :
$15 per hour
Location:
Chandler, AZ (primarily in-person with minimal telehealth flexibility) Primary Responsibilities Provide individual counseling primarily to children and adolescents. Provide counseling services to adult clients as your caseload develops. Facilitate family sessions as clinically appropriate. Maintain a Monday-Friday caseload. Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner. Collaborate with supervisors and fellow clinicians. Participate in weekly clinical consultation and ongoing training. Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has experience providing therapy to children and adolescents. Builds strong therapeutic relationships with children, teens, and their families. Enjoys incorporating developmentally appropriate interventions such as play-based techniques, art, movement, games, sensory activities, and other creative therapeutic approaches when clinically appropriate. Is comfortable providing therapy to adults in addition to children and teens. Values collaboration with parents, caregivers, schools, and other providers. Has an interest in trauma-informed care, anxiety disorders, emotional regulation, and family systems. Is organized, dependable, and completes documentation in a timely manner. Thrives in a collaborative team environment. Is open to supervision, constructive feedback, and continued professional growth. Graduates awaiting Arizona associate licensure are encouraged to apply. Preferred Qualifications, but not required Experience or interest in: Child and adolescent mental health Trauma-informed care Family therapy Parent coaching Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) Internal Family Systems (IFS)
