Licensed, Waivered or Registered Mental Health Professional

Job Summary As a Mental Health Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting youth with mental health needs. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide direct care, therapeutic support, and interventions in a structured mental health setting. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) Provide direct support and care to youth with mental health disorders Assist with crisis intervention and apply de-escalation techniques as needed Facilitate group therapy sessions under the supervision of a licensed clinician Support youth with activities of daily living and therapeutic programming Accurately document client interactions, behaviors, and progress notes Collaborate with clinical and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care Skills & Qualifications (including but not limited to) Experience providing direct support to youth with mental health conditions Knowledge of crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies Familiarity with group therapy practices and therapeutic techniques Understanding of residential or structured mental health care environments Ability to provide culturally competent care to diverse populations Strong skills in adolescent counseling and supportive interventions Knowledge of ICD-10 coding for accurate documentation and billing Licensure Requirements Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP): Must meet the requirements for one of the following disciplines: Psychologist Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) Candidates must: Hold a graduate degree or higher in Counseling or a related field Possess a valid, active license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or applicable licensing body

Waivered/Registered Mental Health Professional:

Must be registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) or appropriate governing body as one of the following: Registered Psychologist Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC) Candidates must: Hold a graduate degree or higher in Counseling or a related field Additional Requirements Must be at least 21 years of age
