Education:
Master's degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or psychology from an accredited college or university. Licensure & Registration (by position level):
Mental Health Specialist II:
Active registration with the California BBS as an Associate (AMFT, ACSW, or APCC).
Mental Health Specialist III:
Active California licensure as an LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
Experience:
At least one (1) year of direct service experience in a mental health setting (relevant student internship or practicum hours count toward this requirement). Experience working in a community-based therapy setting is preferred.
Requirements :
A valid California Driver's License and compliance with Agency driving eligibility criteria. Bilingual in English and Spanish required. How you will make a difference: This role has the primary responsibility for assessing the immediate and ongoing needs of youth and families and developing treatment plans in collaboration with the treatment team. Provides individual, family, and group therapy services using trauma-informed and client-centered approaches. Facilitates treatment team meetings, supports crisis intervention, and helps connect clients and families with appropriate resources and services. Delivers services in a variety of settings, including homes, schools, community locations, and the office, and participates in an on-call rotation to provide support during crises.

Outpatient community-based services and support. Delivers client services throughout Fresno County within designated county limits. May be required to transport clients/client family members utilizing personal vehicle.
