Sunday-Thursday Tuesday-Saturday Make a Difference Every Day Are you passionate about helping people recover from substance use and mental health challenges? We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Behavioral Health Recovery Counselor to join our inpatient behavioral health program serving adults with substance use disorders, co-occurring mental health conditions, and complex behavioral health needs. No prior experience with aging populations or medical conditions required — we will train the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity for: CADC counselors CATC counselors Registered counselors working toward certification Behavioral health professionals seeking inpatient experience Newer counselors looking for mentorship and career growth What You'll Do Facilitate recovery and psychoeducational groups Provide one-on-one supportive counseling Help residents develop relapse prevention and recovery goals Support individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use challenges Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the interdisciplinary treatment team Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Encourage emotional regulation, healthy routines, and resident engagement Help maintain a safe, structured, therapeutic environment QualificationsRequired CADC, CATC, registered counselor status, or actively pursuing certification Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, recovery services, case management, or related human services field Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, reliable, team-oriented approach Preferred (Not Required) Experience with dual diagnosis or co-occurring disorders Experience in inpatient, residential, detox, or treatment settings Trauma-informed care experience Bilingual skills are a plus What We Offer $26•32 per hour Ongoing training and mentorship Supportive clinical team Professional growth opportunities Meaningful work serving vulnerable populations If you're looking for a career where your compassion, consistency, and dedication truly matter, we'd love to hear from you.
