(Exodus) is seeking a full-time Bilingual Forensic Mental Health Clinician (AMFT, ACSW, APCC) to join our Project Connect program in Los Angeles, CA. This role provides individual and group counseling, comprehensive mental health assessment and treatment, forensic advocacy, symptom management, skills-building, and community-based support. The clinician will work with youth and adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are involved in, or at risk of involvement in, the criminal justice system.
MINIMUM QUALLIFICATIONS
Registered with the California BBS as an AMFT, ACSW, or APCC, or with the Board of Psychology as a Psychological Associate or a Psychological Intern Strong knowledge of mental health assessment and crisis intervention Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, demonstrating sound clinical judgment Strong verbal and written communication skills Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written)
Preferred:
Two (2) years of clinical experience in mental health and/or experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
EDUCATION
Master's degree in a related field that qualifies for AMFT, ACSW, or APCC registration or pre-licensed & licensed clinicians: current continuing education in compliance with BBS licensure requirements New graduates are welcome to apply
COMPENSATION
$32-$36/hour (commensurate with experience) Additional compensation available for licensed clinicians
SCHEDULE
Full-time, 8-hour shifts Weekday schedule (day shift)
WORK LOCATION
Lincoln Heights area, Los Angeles, CA
