availability to work until 7pm some evenings •this is for an outpatient mental health program that serves adults and young adults Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Director specializing in Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to lead our mental health services. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee clinical operations, ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, and foster a compassionate environment for individuals of all ages. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for mental health counseling, strong leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of behavioral health practices. As Clinical Director, you will be instrumental in shaping our clinical programs, mentoring staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including therapists, counselors, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Oversee clinical operations, including intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, treatment planning, and ongoing patient care management. Implement evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing to enhance therapeutic effectiveness. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and other healthcare policies to maintain patient confidentiality and legal adherence. Manage crisis intervention efforts, including crisis management protocols and PTSD care strategies, to support patients experiencing acute mental health challenges. Facilitate group therapy sessions and child & family counseling programs while working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Coordinate case management activities, including patient assessment, medical records documentation, data collection for clinical research, and collaboration with community resources for home & community care. Skills Proven expertise in mental health counseling techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral management, and psychotherapeutic modalities. Strong knowledge of behavioral health conditions including PTSD, addiction issues, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and special education needs. Exceptional skills in crisis intervention and crisis management to effectively support patients during emergencies. Experience working with children, pediatrics, individuals with disabilities or developmental delays, ensuring tailored treatment approaches. Proficiency in medical terminology, medical documentation practices, ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and HIPAA compliance standards. Ability to lead clinical research initiatives while maintaining high standards of patient care and data integrity.
