Program Administrator - San Joaquin Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) This position is fully in person. No hybrid. No remote work. Program office is located at 2105 W. We are seeking a California-licensed behavioral health leader to oversee Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) Program #639 in Stockton, California — a high-impact community-based crisis program supporting individuals experiencing behavioral health emergencies across San Joaquin County. This is an opportunity for a clinically strong, operationally savvy, recovery-oriented leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about behavioral health crisis response, community partnerships, and building strong multidisciplinary teams. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Services or related behavioral health field Current California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD Minimum two (2) years of post-licensure experience Minimum two (2) years managing behavioral health services Minimum two (2) years providing crisis management services Experience supervising clinical or multidisciplinary staff Experience with data collection systems, reporting, and operational oversight Experience providing presentations, trainings, and community engagement Employment is contingent upon successful completion of required background checks, health screenings, and license verification Compensation Expected starting salary range: $131,379.02 - $162,256.35 Starting pay is based on licensure, experience, and qualifications above minimum requirements. Community-Based Crisis Intervention San Joaquin MCRT provides mobile behavioral health crisis response services to individuals experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health emergencies within the community. The program works collaboratively with county partners, healthcare systems, law enforcement, hospitals, and community agencies to deliver immediate crisis intervention and stabilization services. Recovery-Centered Behavioral Health Services The program utilizes a recovery-focused, person-centered approach that emphasizes stabilization, dignity, community integration, and reducing unnecessary hospitalization whenever possible. Services are designed to support individuals experiencing serious mental illness, behavioral health crises, and co-occurring conditions in the least restrictive environment. High-Acuity, Fast-Paced Leadership This program operates within complex, high-pressure community settings requiring a confident and responsive leader who can effectively support crisis teams, manage operational demands, navigate community partnerships, and lead through rapidly evolving situations. Multidisciplinary Team Leadership The Administrator oversees approximately 35 employees and leads a multidisciplinary behavioral health team focused on crisis intervention, clinical excellence, operational performance, and community collaboration.
