WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks a Corrections Mental Health Clinician to provide compassionate behavioral health care in a correctional setting. In this role, you will complete assessments, treatment plans, and crisis interventions, and deliver individual and group therapy to incarcerated adults. You will collaborate closely with correctional and medical staff, maintain thorough clinical documentation, and follow strict ethical and security protocols. Responsibilities Provide mental health assessments, crisis intervention, and treatment planning for incarcerated individuals in a corrections setting Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices for diverse mental health needs Collaborate with correctional staff, medical teams, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility, legal, and ethical standards Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and discharge planning to support continuity of care Conduct suicide risk assessments and implement appropriate safety and stabilization interventions Educate patients and staff on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources Adhere to correctional facility policies, security protocols, and professional codes of conduct Use electronic health record systems to track progress, outcomes, and treatment plans Engage in ongoing professional development and training related to forensic and correctional mental health Required Skills Clinical mental health assessment Individual and group therapy Crisis intervention and de-escalation Suicide risk assessment Treatment planning and documentation Knowledge of correctional/forensic mental health DSM-5 diagnostic skills Electronic health records (EHR) Interdisciplinary collaboration Risk management and safety protocols
