WSi Healthcare Personnel seeks a Corrections Mental Health Clinician to provide compassionate care to incarcerated adults in Colorado facilities. In this role, you'll conduct assessments, lead individual and group therapy, manage crisis interventions, and complete risk evaluations for self-harm or violence. You'll collaborate closely with medical teams and correctional staff, maintain thorough clinical documentation, and ensure ethical, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive care. Responsibilities Provide mental health assessments, treatment planning, and crisis intervention to incarcerated adults in a correctional setting Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based practices tailored to justice-involved populations Collaborate with medical staff, correctional officers, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care Monitor, document, and report patient progress in accordance with legal, ethical, and facility standards Conduct risk assessments for self-harm, suicide, and violence; implement safety plans as needed Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and treatment team meetings Educate patients on coping skills, medication adherence, and relapse prevention Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with all regulatory and confidentiality requirements Provide consultation and support to correctional staff regarding mental health issues Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to forensic and correctional mental health Required Skills Mental health assessment Individual psychotherapy Group therapy facilitation Crisis intervention Suicide and violence risk assessment Treatment planning and documentation Correctional/forensic mental health Trauma-informed care Electronic health records (EHR) Interdisciplinary collaboration
