In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, develop personalized treatment plans, and deliver a variety of therapeutic interventions across diverse populations. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for accurate record-keeping. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic therapy tailored to client needs. Deliver individual counseling sessions focused on mental health counseling, child & youth therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and gender issues counseling. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure client safety during acute episodes or emergencies. Engage in case management activities, coordinating care with other healthcare providers and supporting clients with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities. Maintain detailed clinical documentation compliant with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards within EMR/EHR systems. Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance treatment efficacy and contribute to ongoing program development. Skills Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques for example cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) Strong experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, and geriatrics. Expertise in crisis intervention, crisis management, behavior management, and social work practices within inpatient or outpatient settings. Knowledge of ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and billing processes. Skilled in telehealth therapy delivery using HIPAA-compliant platforms; experience with telehealth is highly valued. Ability to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and treatment planning aligned with clinical ethical guidelines. Familiarity or willingness to learn medical terminology related to psychopharmacology, chronic pain counseling, PTSD care, grief counseling, and obsessive and compulsive disorder treatment. Excellent client communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care; experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders or disabilities is preferred. Your Expertise.
