Role:
At the Counseling Center at Fort Lupton, we believe mental health care is for everyone, not just during times of crisis, but as a foundation for growth, resilience, and lifelong well-being. Our clinicians play a meaningful role in empowering individuals, couples, and families to become that best versions of themselves. We proudly serve clients across the lifespan, from children and adolescents to adults and geriatric populations, offering compassionate, inclusive care tailored to each stage of life. Our integrated, team-based approach includes individual, family, and couples counseling, group therapy, medication management, Early childhood development education and assessment, and outpatient substance use treatment, including DUI education. Together, these services support whole-person wellness and promote lasting recovering, for our clients and the community we serve. This position includes eligibility for a monthly performance bonus.
What You Will Do:
Provide person-centered assessment, goal planning, and treatment for mental health and/or substance use issues. Provide screening, intakes, and assessment of clients utilizing required instruments and formats within appropriate timelines. Develop strength-based written treatment plans/updates and continuing care plans and make appropriate referrals. Complete written discharge summaries and correspondence within established timelines. Assist individuals in improving their well-being and quality of life by training in behavioral skills; educate clients to make information choices; develop client coping skills; help clients to problem solve and negotiate tasks of daily living. Maintain electronic health records in accordance with agency standards; confirm coding of services rendered is ethically appropriate and results in successful billing. Learn, utilize, and support fidelity of any evidence-based practices within assigned program to ensure effective interventions with clints. You're a
Great Fit If You:
Have a Masters Degree in a Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Addictions Counseling, Rehabilitation Counseling, or other relevant clinical degree from an accredited college of university. Have a valid driver's license and an insurable driving record. Can successfully complete pre-employment screening, including background check, fingerprinting, and drug and TB testing.
