Independent Contractor (1099)
Schedule:
Flexible (Minimum 10 clinical hours/week) Join a Boutique Private Practice At the therap(e) group , we believe therapy should feel personal—for both our clients and our clinicians. We're a small, private-pay practice focused on providing thoughtful, relationship-centered care in a warm, welcoming environment. Rather than becoming a large group practice, our vision is to remain intentionally small while adding one exceptional clinician who shares our values and passion for helping others. If you're looking for the flexibility and autonomy of private practice without the stress of managing marketing, billing, or administrative tasks, we'd love to meet you. What We Offer
  • Fully furnished, professional office space in Glastonbury, CT
  • Access to an established referral stream (no guaranteed caseload)
  • Practice EHR system for documentation, scheduling, and billing
  • Optional administrative support for practice systems and coordination
  • Percentage-based compensation per completed session
  • Flexible scheduling with full control over your clinical calendar
  • Opportunity to accept referrals, build your own caseload, and market independently if desired Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy, primarily with adolescents and their families
  • Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and ongoing care
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and ethical documentation in the EHR
  • Manage your own caseload and schedule independently
  • Collaborate with caregivers, schools, and outside providers when clinically appropriate
  • Maintain compliance with all Connecticut licensing requirements, HIPAA regulations, and professional ethical standards Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted Connecticut LMFT, LPC, or LCSW license
  • Demonstrated experience and strong interest in working with adolescents
  • Clinical competence in areas such as anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, ADHD, family conflict, or life transitions
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable operating as an autonomous practitioner within a private practice setting Who Will Thrive Here This position is ideal for a clinician who wants the benefits of private practice without the burden of running one.
