Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking Lpc, Ladc, Therapist to join our dynamic mental health and behavioral services team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic support to individuals across diverse age groups and backgrounds, fostering positive change and resilience. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges through evidence-based practices and personalized care plans. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, art therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral therapy. Manage cases involving patients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, or other mental health conditions through specialized interventions like applied behavior analysis and crisis management. Collect and document medical records, treatment progress notes, and other healthcare data in compliance with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and accuracy. Facilitate intake procedures for new clients, including initial assessments and coordination of services with multidisciplinary teams. Provide crisis intervention and conflict management to de-escalate situations effectively while ensuring patient safety. Support community-based care initiatives by working with families, schools, or social service agencies to promote holistic well-being and recovery. Experience Proven experience in home & community care settings or outpatient mental health clinics. Strong background in addiction counseling, social work, or behavioral health disciplines. Demonstrated ability to perform patient care activities including assessments, treatment planning, and documentation using medical terminology. Familiarity with medical records management systems and adherence to HIPAA standards for patient privacy. Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with disabilities—particularly autism spectrum disorder—and implementing applied behavior analysis techniques. Knowledge of crisis intervention strategies, PTSD care protocols, gender issues counseling, and special education environments is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills for conducting intake interviews, case management meetings, and psychotherapy sessions within a multidisciplinary team.
