Job Description
Aspire Health Partners, Inc. (Aspire), is a non-profit 501(c)3 behavioral healthcare organization. Aspire Health Partners is Florida's largest Behavioral Health Non-Profit that provides a full continuum of behavioral healthcare services across six (6) Central Florida Counties; Brevard, Hillsborough, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole. The Women's Residential- Brevard Program offers comprehensive and intensive residential treatment for women in a safe and structured environment. The program utilizes an evidence-based treatment model which addresses the needs of women with both mental health issues and substance use disorders. Innovative treatment services are gender specific with culturally competent staff and include individual, group and family counseling; case management; parenting education; life skills development; trauma services; vocational/educational services; mental health and medical assessment/treatment; and referrals. As a Senior Adult Counselor at Aspire Health Partners, your job purpose will be to provide a multitude of essential functions to effectively oversee the duties of the position within the Program. Conducting pre-admission and behavioral assessments and diagnoses Determining client suitability for agency programs Planning and implementing psychological therapeutic and counseling processes to aid individuals with single or multiple diagnoses Utilizing counseling methods, techniques and modalities of the program to provide therapeutic treatment Constantly assessing the client's progress and condition Referring groups of clients and families dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues to support services Completing required documentation and reports and providing services under the parameters of the designated program within the prescribed settings Most importantly, all functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Master's Degree in a Human Services field Level II Background clearance- All Aspire Health Partners Internships and Careers require Level 2 clearance, with Aspire covering fingerprinting costs.
