Job Description
The Mental Health Counselor Position welcome applicants with a Masters Degree for a Full time or Part time 1099 Contract position. Provides individual therapy as required in accordance with recommendations from Psychiatrist. Develops master problem list for each client based on diagnosis and symptoms manifestation. Responsible for the development, implementation, supervision and assessment of an individualized treatment plan. Document client's response to treatment. Entries to provide information for review, analysis and modification of the client's individualized treatment plan. Provides for assessment and evaluation of the client's biopsychosocial history. Know crisis prevention techniques to work with difficult clients. Maintain personal professional growth and development. Maintain confidentiality of all client information. Complies with facility, program and departmental policy and procedures.
