Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Counselor/Therapist to join our team (as a 1099 Contractor). In this role, you will provide essential mental health care to patients, focusing on assessment, therapy, and support for individuals facing various mental health and/or relationship challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote well-being. We analyze the presented struggles and their underlying causes. By helping clients develop new patterns of thinking and behavior, we help create lasting change to be steady in life storms. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive client assessments to determine mental health needs and develop appropriate care plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations. Participate in ongoing research initiatives aimed at improving mental health treatment practices. Utilize coding systems such as ICD-9 for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Foster a supportive environment that encourages client engagement in their wellness process. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on individual needs. Qualifications Current Registered Marriage and Family Therapy/Registered Mental Health Counselor in Florida. Experience in mental health services. Strong skills in assessment and therapeutic communication. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential. A commitment to providing compassionate care and promoting mental health awareness. This is a 1099 contractor role. Licenses and Certifications A Master's Level Mental Health Counselor Registered Intern, Clinical Social Worker Registered Intern, or Marriage and Family Therapy Registered Intern with the State of Florida.
