Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Masters Level Registered Intern, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health services to diverse populations. This position offers an opportunity to develop your clinical skills while supporting individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents, and adults. You will work under the supervision of licensed professionals to deliver high-quality care in various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and through telehealth platforms. Your enthusiasm and dedication will contribute to transforming lives through innovative mental health interventions. Supervision towards licensure provided for free. Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments utilizing clinical documentation standards and diagnostic evaluation tools such as ICD-10 and DSM guidelines. Assist in developing individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based practices like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Support clients through direct support activities, including crisis intervention, grief counseling, and behavior management strategies tailored for children, youth, and individuals with developmental disabilities. Facilitate individual, family or couples therapy sessions focusing on mental health counseling, child & youth therapy, addiction counseling, family systems and relationships. Document clinical notes accurately and timely within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards. Engage in telehealth therapy sessions utilizing telehealth experience protocols to ensure seamless virtual care delivery. Experience Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or related field from an accredited program. Current registration or eligibility for licensure as a mental health intern or equivalent credential. Prior experience working with children and adolescents in clinical or outpatient settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with crisis management techniques, trauma-informed care, and behavior management strategies. Experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or developmental disabilities is preferred. Telehealth experience and proficiency with EMR/EHR systems are advantageous. Pay:
$32.00 - $36.00 per hour
