$66K-$71K+ (based on experience)

About the Role In this rewarding outpatient counseling role, you'll have the opportunity to develop meaningful therapeutic relationships while providing high-quality, person-centered care to individuals navigating mental health and substance use challenges. Through comprehensive assessments, intake evaluations, individualized treatment planning, counseling services, and ongoing support, you'll empower clients to identify their strengths, overcome obstacles, and achieve their recovery goals. As part of a collaborative and supportive team, you'll play an important role in creating a welcoming environment where clients feel heard, valued, and supported throughout their treatment journey. What You'll Do
  • Provide individual and group counseling for mental health and substance use recovery
  • Complete biopsychosocial assessments and individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor progress and maintain clinical documentation
  • Support clients across early stages of recovery in a structured setting Minimum Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related behavioral health field.
  • Florida licensure in Mental Health Counseling, Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field preferred.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and meet agency insurance requirements to qualify as a Center Driver. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Knowledge of crisis intervention, behavioral health treatment, and suicide prevention principles.
  • Ability to assess risk and respond effectively during crisis situations.
  • Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate during emergencies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with individuals, families, and community partners.
  • Strong collaboration and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and computer-based documentation.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary team environment.
