Job Description

Position:
School Mental Health and Guidance Counselor 2026-2027 SY Collage Day School is a dynamic, independent private day school in the beautiful Palm Valley area of Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. We are part of International School Partnership's global community and serve students aged toddlers through elementary. Collage Day School is nestled on eight acres with winding nature trails and serene ponds. We provide your child with a safe and engaging environment that fosters not just their love of learning but also their eagerness to explore and understand the world around them. We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative Mental Health and Guidance Counselor who will support the social, emotional, and academic needs of our students. This is a full-time, 10-month position with summers off. ISP Principles Begin with our children and students. Our children and students are at the heart of what we do. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with school personnel, parents, teachers, community agencies, and students to promote optimal learning outcomes for students Utilize skills in problem-solving and assessment for intervention to support the school in meeting the social, emotional, and academic needs of all students Organize and implement a comprehensive social-emotional curriculum Assist students, individually or in groups, with developing academic and emotional/social skills, goals, and plans Work with the school administration and faculty to promote a positive emotional and academic climate in the school Oversee the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Mentoring Program that fosters relationships between our 4th/5th graders and our PreK students Implement developmentally appropriate interventions and support Implement an effective referral and follow-up process, as needed Update and maintain confidential student records and conference notes
Qualifications Required:
Master's Degree in Counseling or related field required School counseling certification (K-12) a plus Three or more years of experience working with children Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Salary:
Salary commensurate with experience. Starting at $52,500.
