Skills Proven experience in mental health counseling within educational or pediatric settings, with familiarity in school experience preferred. Strong knowledge of crisis intervention, crisis management, and PTSD care techniques to support students facing trauma or emergencies. Expertise in addiction counseling, child & family counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation, patient assessment, data collection, and medical documentation related to behavioral health. Skilled in delivering individual and group psychotherapy using approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and Christian counseling if applicable. Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, families, and multidisciplinary teams while demonstrating compassion and cultural sensitivity. Excellent conflict management skills coupled with behavioral management strategies to foster a safe and supportive school climate.
