JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a licensed LMHC or Psychologist to provide behavioral health services across multiple post-acute care facilities. Responsibilities include conducting daily rounds, assessing and treating patients, collaborating with facility staff, and delivering accurate diagnoses, consultations, education, and follow-up care. This role involves working closely with the Psych division team within the facilities. Applicants must hold an active Florida license or be a Registered Intern in Florida.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
Examine patients and document medical history Adhere to established charting protocols Collaborate with Physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans Submit healthcare plans and patient goals for periodic physician review Educate patients on disease prevention, hygiene, and diet Refer patients to specialists as needed Report deaths and contagious diseases in accordance with government regulations Perform additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Active and in-good-standing State of Florida license Must be an LMHC in Florida Current National Board Certification
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills Demonstrates initiative, creativity, and problem-solving ability Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure quality patient care
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
Experience using electronic medical records (EMR) preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish)
RELATIONSHIP REPORTING
Reports directly to the Supervisory Psychiatric Physician / Executive Director
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to communicate effectively with patients Ability to collaborate with colleagues as needed Ability to operate a computer, printer, and scanner Ability to sit, stand, or view a computer screen for extended periods Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions Ability to use hands and fingers to handle or feel Ability to reach with hands and arms
