Job Description
Department Behavioral Health Assessment Job Summary This position exhibits excellent customer service, and is the initial contact for individuals, family, and referral sources requesting services or information. Will provide telephonic and in-person risk assessments/evaluations, coordinates the referral and intake process, facilitates the admission process, and maintains communication with referral sources, families, patients, and unit staff. Uses empathetic listening and crisis intervention skills to obtain all pertinent clinical, and demographic information to assist callers to the right level of care. Required weekly shift every Thursday from 7AM-7:30PM and required availability to cover other open shifts as needed (PTO, etc.) Required Qualifications
- Require a master's degree in psychiatric related field.
- Require Florida licensure as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist (Ph.D.).
- Require two (2) years of experience in psychiatric related setting.
- Require the ability to obtain a level 2 AHCA clearance.
