Conducts confidential EAP assessments, provides short term counseling interventions and referrals to community resources when needed. Responsible for maintaining accurate and confidential records of activities. Provides consultation to managers and supervisors, conducts training in areas relevant to EAP (conflict communication skills, team building, stress management, etc.), and provides coaching regarding performance improvement when requested. Conducts critical incident stress management sessions when needed. Serves as a member of the Threat Assessment Team when needed. Works closely with Emergency Loan Fund Committee in the application/approval/repayment of Emergency Loans to FSU employees. Interprets rules/regulations of the University, EAP policy/procedures, and state and federal clinical practice guidelines. Makes recommendations to the EAP Director for changes to existing and proposed policy to ensure compliance with standards of practice. Qualifications Master's degree or PhD in a behavioral health field and two years of clinical experience. Active, unrestricted clinical license required (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, Psychologist), enabling independent practice in Florida. Must begin pursuing certification as a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) within the first year of hire. Preferred Qualifications Employee Assistance experience and certification as an Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP). Experience in clinical assessment, including substance abuse assessment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to establish and maintain effective, respectful working relationships. Ability to prioritize, organize, and perform multiple work assignments. Experience with the standard concepts, practices, and procedures of health, human service, and counseling programs. Experience using case management software and preparing presentations, with the ability to prepare reports and keep Excel data files. Experience conducting supervisor consults. Experience conducting training. Experience in mediation is a plus.
