Job Description

Outpatient Therapist - LCSW, LMHC, LMFT A Time To Change Counseling Center, P.A. is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and clinically strong Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our growing outpatient counseling practice serving Tallahassee, Crawfordville, and surrounding communities. We are a locally owned group practice that believes healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, seen, and truly heard. Our team is passionate about providing high-quality, relationship-centered care while supporting one another professionally and personally. This is a salaried W-4 position — not a contract or 1099 role. We provide the clients, administrative support, credentialing assistance, billing support, and collaborative team environment so our clinicians can focus on clinical care. Position Responsibilities Provide outpatient psychotherapy services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and/or families Complete biopsychosocial assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required documentation in a timely manner Maintain ethical and professional standards in accordance with state licensing boards and payer requirements Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed interventions tailored to client needs Participate in case consultation and collaborative team communication as needed Maintain appropriate caseload and scheduling expectations Conduct crisis assessment and safety planning as clinically indicated Collaborate with schools, physicians, families, and community supports when appropriate Preferred Clinical Experience Experience in any of the following areas is welcomed: EMDR or trauma-informed care Anxiety and depression Children and adolescents Family systems and parenting DBT and CBT interventions Women's issues Grief and loss Behavioral concerns and emotional regulation Crisis intervention Christian counseling Couple's counseling Qualifications Active Florida license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT Master's degree in a behavioral health field Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills Ability to work independently while functioning as part of a collaborative team Compassionate, professional, and client-centered approach to care What We Offer W-4 salaried position Full caseload provided Administrative and billing support Credentialing assistance with insurance panels Supportive team culture and collaborative environment Flexible scheduling opportunities
