Mental Health Counselor B&K Counseling West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Part-time | Contract $25 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Group therapy Individual therapy Care documentation Clinical case management notes Compliance documentation Clinical assessment documentation Organizational skills Patient interaction Social Work Clinical documentation standards Full Job Description Overview We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Mental Health Counselor or Clinical Social Worker (licensed or intern) to provide therapeutic services to a court-mandated sexual offender population. This role involves delivering services across multiple locations (West Palm Beach, Pahokee, Fort Pierce), requiring strong clinical judgment, organization, and the ability to work collaboratively within a structured compliance framework. Duties Provide both individual and group therapy to court-mandated clients Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop appropriate treatment plans Facilitate psychoeducational and therapeutic interventions tailored to client needs Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation Coordinate and communicate with probation officers and other supervisory entities Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and organizational standards Travel to various service locations as required Requirements Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution. Licensed or license-eligible (intern/associate) in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field Strong understanding of clinical documentation and compliance requirements Ability to manage a flexible schedule and travel between sites Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently while maintaining accountability​ Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy modalities such as CBT, psychodynamic therapy, behavior therapy, addiction counseling, a​nd trauma counseling. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate but direct approach to client care is a must.
Work Environment:
This is a field-based position requiring travel to multiple sites. Candidates must be comfortable working with a mandated population and collaborating with legal and supervisory systems. How to
