Responsibilities Conduct thorough intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent mental health situations effectively while ensuring client safety. Engage in case management activities, including data collection, documentation of medical records, HIPAA-compliant note-taking, and progress tracking. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, or other behavioral health conditions. Provide specialized services such as child & family counseling, addiction counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities or special education needs. Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards including ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology accuracy. Skills Proven experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral management, and motivational interviewing. Strong background in working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical or community settings. Expertise in crisis management and crisis intervention to support clients during urgent mental health episodes. Knowledge of home & community care practices to facilitate effective treatment outside traditional clinical settings. Familiarity with medical documentation standards such as HIPAA compliance and accurate record keeping within electronic health record systems. Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations using ICD coding systems (ICD-9/10) and CPT codes for billing purposes. Excellent communication skills for intake assessments, patient care coordination, and collaboration with healthcare teams.
