Program Overview:

The Adult Crisis Unit clinician conducts intake assessments for new crisis clients, including behavioral health and safety assessments, suicide/self-harm risk evaluations, effective written and verbal communication, and group facilitation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct intake assessments for incoming crisis clients. Complete Behavioral Health Assessments (BHA). Conduct comprehensive safety assessments. Assess clients for suicide and self-harm risk. Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills. Facilitate therapeutic and educational groups Qualifications Master's degree in social service field (Social Work, Sociology, Psychology, Human Services) or related field Must have Associate License or Fully Licensed in either - LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LCSW) Experience working in mental health, behavioral health, or a crisis stabilization setting Experience with trauma-informed care Demonstrate knowledge and expertise with the chronically mentally ill population.
