Summary We are seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor to join our dynamic team at East Georgia Healthcare Center. In this role, you will provide essential mental health counseling services to our diverse patient population, contributing to their overall well-being and recovery. Your expertise will play a vital role in fostering a supportive healthcare environment. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling sessions for patients with various mental health concerns. Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and other therapeutic techniques to support patient recovery. Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure integrated care for patients. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes. Participate in clinical research initiatives as needed to enhance service delivery. Requirements Master's degree in Counseling or related field from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. Experience in mental health counseling, particularly in a clinical setting. Strong understanding of behavioral health practices and crisis management techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients.
