Job Description
Job Summary Riverstone Counseling Group is seeking a compassionate, motivated, and client-centered licensed therapist to join our growing outpatient private practice. We are committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health services in a supportive, collaborative, and welcoming environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with children, adolescents, adults, and families while maintaining flexibility and clinical autonomy. We are looking for a therapist who values authentic therapeutic relationships, enjoys helping clients create meaningful change, and is excited to be part of building a growing private practice. Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or couples psychotherapy services. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and establish appropriate diagnoses using DSM-5-TR and ICD-10 criteria. Develop individualized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique strengths, needs, and goals. Deliver evidence-based psychotherapy utilizing approaches such as CBT, ACT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR, Solution-Focused Therapy, or other clinically appropriate interventions. Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge summaries, within agency expectations. Complete documentation in TherapyNotes Electronic Health Record (EHR). Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and all applicable state and federal regulations. Coordinate care with physicians, schools, case managers, and other providers when clinically appropriate. Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings as needed. Maintain professional and ethical standards in accordance with licensing board requirements. QualificationsRequired Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field. Current unrestricted Idaho license as one of the following: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Ability to successfully pass the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare criminal background check. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently while maintaining professionalism and accountability. Ability to complete documentation within 24 hours of services provided. Preferred Experience providing outpatient psychotherapy. Experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. Experience treating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, behavioral disorders, and relationship concerns. EMDR training or other trauma-focused training is a plus. Experience with Medicaid and commercial insurance documentation.
