Help People Heal. Make an Impact Every Day. Crossroads Healing Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and engaging Group Facilitator to join our behavioral health team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading discussions, educating others, and helping individuals develop the skills needed to achieve lasting recovery. As a Group Facilitator, you will lead therapeutic and psychoeducational groups for adults receiving treatment for substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary clinical team to provide structured programming that supports recovery, personal growth, and long-term success. What You'll Do Facilitate daily psychoeducational, process, life skills, relapse prevention, and recovery-focused groups. Create a safe, engaging, and supportive therapeutic environment. Encourage participation while maintaining healthy professional boundaries. Promote coping skills, emotional wellness, accountability, and healthy decision-making. Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record. Communicate patient progress and concerns with the interdisciplinary treatment team. Assist with program activities and therapeutic programming as needed. Maintain compliance with HIPAA, Joint Commission standards, and organizational policies. Respond appropriately to crisis situations and support a safe treatment environment.
Qualifications Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, Addiction Studies, Education, or a related field.
Will Also Consider:
Associate degree with behavioral health experience. Relevant experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, recovery support, education, or human services. Experience Experience facilitating groups is preferred but not required. Experience working in behavioral health, mental health, addiction treatment, healthcare, education, or social services is preferred. Strong communication and public speaking skills. Ability to build rapport with diverse patient populations. Excellent organizational and documentation skills. Crossroads Healing Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Pay:
$18.00 - $23.00 per hour
