  • $70k per year Position Summary Ethan's Crossing is seeking a compassionate, skilled, and motivated Outpatient Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The therapist will provide evidence-based, person-centered clinical services to individuals experiencing substance use disorders, mental health concerns, and co-occurring conditions. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping individuals achieve lasting recovery and is comfortable working with clients across varying stages of treatment and recovery. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field. Must hold one of the following Indiana credentials: LCAC
  • Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor LSW
  • Licensed Social Worker LMHC
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor Must maintain a license/credential in good standing.
Previous behavioral health, substance use, or outpatient clinical experience preferred. Strong clinical documentation, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and identify client strengths, needs, and treatment goals. Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy as clinically appropriate. Provide treatment for substance use disorders, mental health conditions, and co-occurring disorders. Utilize evidence-based and trauma-informed therapeutic interventions. Facilitate therapeutic groups and psychoeducational programming. Monitor client progress and update treatment interventions as needed. Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, assessments, and discharge documentation. Participate in clinical staffing, treatment team meetings, case consultations, and supervision. Collaborate with case managers, medical and psychiatric providers, families, and community resources. Identify changes in client presentation and respond appropriately to clinical or behavioral concerns. Provide crisis intervention and assist with safety planning when clinically indicated. Support clients in developing healthy coping skills, emotional regulation, relapse-prevention strategies, and recovery skills. Coordinate referrals and transitions to higher or lower levels of care when appropriate. Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical standards. Follow all applicable Indiana regulations, organizational policies, and clinical standards. Participate in ongoing training and professional development. Preferred Experience Experience treating substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions . Experience in outpatient, residential, PHP, IOP, or other behavioral health settings. Experience facilitating individual and group therapy. Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and relapse-prevention approaches . Experience working with clients transitioning from higher levels of care into outpatient services.
