Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Indiana Department of Correction. We are seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist for a full-time position at Pendleton Correctional Facility in Pendleton, Indiana. Pay Rate is $21-25/hour, depending on experience + benefits The Behavioral Health Specialist (Indiana) (Pre-Licensed) is responsible using recreational and social activities to foster skill building and problem solving as well as accomplish treatment objectives. The Behavioral Health Specialist works as a part of a multi-disciplinary treatment team supporting the patients to enhance their skill sets to reinforce social, adaptive, and independent living skills. Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related social sciences field required
- Specific training in recreational therapy preferred
- National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) preferred
- Correctional environment experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Full Time Day Shift (Monday- Friday) Interested in learning more?
