Position Summary As a Licensed Addiction Counselor, you'll provide individual, family, and group counseling for adolescents and adults while helping clients build meaningful, lasting recovery. You'll conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, facilitate engaging therapy sessions, maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation, collaborate with referral sources and community partners, and contribute ideas that improve client care and strengthen our organization. QualificationsRequired Bachelor's degree or higher in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field. Current Kansas licensure (LAC, LCAC, LPC, LCPC, LMSW, LSCSW, LMFT, LCMFT, LMLP, LCP, LP, or equivalent). Ability and willingness to work with both adolescent and adult populations. Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Preferred Experience treating substance use disorders. Knowledge of ASAM Criteria, DSM-5, and KDADS standards. Experience using electronic health records. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Use a computer and electronic health record system for extended periods. Travel between office locations and within the community, including occasional client transportation, when needed.
