As an Addiction Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference by helping clients identify barriers, build healthier coping skills, strengthen their recovery, and work toward lasting change. What You'll Do Provide individual counseling and support clients throughout their recovery journey Facilitate engaging and clinically meaningful group sessions Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Help clients identify challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward treatment goals Monitor client progress and adjust interventions when appropriate Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, clinical, and support staff to provide coordinated care Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support when needed Maintain strong therapeutic relationships and appropriate professional boundaries Participate in treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical trainings Contribute to a positive, structured, and recovery-focused environment What We're Looking For LAC, LCSW, LPC, CIT, RAC, CAC, PLPC, or applicable credential required Experience working with substance use disorders and/or co-occurring mental health conditions Strong individual counseling and group facilitation skills Knowledge of treatment planning and clinical documentation Familiarity with ASAM criteria preferred Residential or intensive outpatient treatment experience is a plus Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to connect with clients while maintaining structure, accountability, and professional boundaries Dependable, compassionate, and team-oriented Why Join Our Team?
